About
Marketing. Design. Photography. Yoga. Humor. Philanthropy.
they do all play an important part in who I am.
From my College years studying Communication and Theater Arts in Pennsylvania, to the early days in California performing in a Children’s Theater Group (no, I can’t make you a balloon animal) to make ends meet, I’ve relied on a combination of those six pillars to shape my career/life path.
After college I packed my car
and drove across country looking for adventure. I found it in a diverse
career path that encompassed the spectrum; from Improv and Stand Up comedy, to Fitness
Instructor, to Designer on HGTV, to Cause related activism, to award winning Experiential Producer, SVP, and Marketing
Innovator. As crazy as it seems this was a well orchestrated journey of entwined influences, as each
was made better by what came before.
I learned a few important things along the way:
- Every experience has a purpose and provides a foothold for the next journey.
- Keeping your eyes focused ahead while allowing the history of your experiences guide you is a good way to move forward and never be stuck in the past.
- Everything is possible when you are willing to do the work, be open to solutions, listen as much as you speak, and be the person you'd like others to be.
- People (mostly employers) say they are looking for a unicorn but what they really want is a well rounded individual capable of innovative thought.
